About the position

The Cloud Native Technology Intern position offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies, virtual private cloud deployments, and development pipeline management. This internship is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to innovative projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Work on innovative cloud-native projects, gaining experience with the latest tools and technologies in the industry.
  • Assist in the deployment and management of applications on Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) environments.
  • Set up and manage development pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery processes.
  • Utilize and manage Linux-based systems for various development and operational tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for processes, configurations, and standard methodologies.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of cloud-native technologies and principles.
  • Familiarity with Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) concepts and deployment strategies.
  • Experience in setting up and managing development pipelines using CI/CD tools.
  • Proficiency in Linux operating systems and command-line interface.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn new technologies and skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
