About the position

At Apple, the Creativity Apps QA team is on the lookout for a Software ML QA Engineer who will play a crucial role in ensuring the high quality of our iOS and macOS creativity applications. This position is not just about testing; it involves taking projects from the initial stages of data mining and research all the way through to prototyping, development, and final integration into our applications. As a Software ML QA Engineer, you will have the unique opportunity to influence the development of products that will delight and inspire millions of customers every day. You will analyze annotations and test results to ensure that features work seamlessly for customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and implementing workflow projects, conducting regression testing, and filing bugs. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with other team members to develop requirements and identify appropriate testing implementation processes and methodologies. You should be comfortable making educated, critical judgments and systematic in managing priorities. Regular status updates on progress and risks will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that the team is aligned and informed. A proven ability to quickly ramp up on both existing and new technologies is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Scripting and parsing data to support testing processes.
  • Collaborating with the annotation operations team to ensure quality.
  • Analyzing annotations and test results for end-to-end feature functionality.

Requirements
