About the position

As a Linux Systems Administrator for Cyber Systems at General Dynamics Mission Systems, you will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for managing enterprise-class systems, specialized Linux operating systems, and cross-domain solutions. This role involves advanced troubleshooting, customer service, and ensuring the security and efficiency of systems in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise-class systems and specialized Linux OS.
• Perform command-level troubleshooting of OS and associated hardware/software.
• Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and mitigate vulnerabilities as directed by Information Assurance (IA).
• Manage cross-domain enterprise-level solutions.
• Re-image workstations, servers, and databases (both physical and virtual).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a specialized area or equivalent experience required; minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree.
• Current and Active TS/SCI Clearance required at time of hire.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of work performed.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with RedHat Linux.
• System/server builds experience.
• Detail-oriented with advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with cross-domain solutions.
