About the position

The Systems Engineer for the Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS) Integrated Mission Planning and Airspace Control Tools (IMPACT) program will be responsible for designing future Army Aviation Airspace and Mission Planning software. This role involves developing a model-based systems engineering approach to create stable and reliable solutions for military operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop systems engineering solutions for Army Aviation Airspace and Mission Planning software.
• Utilize model-based systems engineering (MBSE) techniques to enhance system reliability.
• Lead the systems development life cycle with a focus on requirements management and system modeling.
• Collaborate with team members to provide technical leadership and support project success.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to negotiate and meet customer requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
• 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
• Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of work performed.

Nice-to-haves

• Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience.
• Software requirements analysis and derivation experience.
• Operational Army Aviation Airspace and Mission Planning experience.
