About the position

The Swim Instructor position at Starfish Aquatic Club involves teaching swimming skills to children and adults in a supportive and energetic environment. Responsibilities

• Teach swimming skills to students of various ages and skill levels.
• Communicate effectively with parents and students regarding progress and safety.
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all participants.
• Work collaboratively with other instructors and staff members.
• Maintain knowledge of swim stroke progression and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Lifeguard certification and/or Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification or similar swim instructor certification.
• Strong swimming experience and comfort working with children and adults.
• Open and energetic personality with the ability to work as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills with parents and students.
• Strong customer service skills.
