About the position
The Swim Instructor position is a part-time role focused on teaching swimming to students of all ages, from infants to adults. The instructor will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, ensuring safety, and effectively communicating with parents about their children's progress. The ideal candidate should be energetic, enthusiastic, and dedicated to making the swim program successful.
Responsibilities
- Teach swimming lessons to students of all ages.
- Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Lead swim instruction sessions and adapt to the needs of different skill levels.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in swimming instruction, lifeguarding, or competitive swimming (preferred).
- Certifications in CPR and First Aid (preferred).
- Ability to work with people of all ages and backgrounds.
- Reliable transportation to travel to various locations.
- Availability during weekdays and weekends.
Nice-to-haves
- Instructor certification (preferred).
