You will cover essential skills, including basic water safety, stroke techniques, and a variety of personal safety skills, all while creating a fun and engaging atmosphere for learning. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing each student's comfort level with water and adapting your teaching methods accordingly. Patience and understanding are key, especially when working with individuals who may be fearful of the water. You will need to instill confidence in your students, helping them progress at their own pace. Your ability to create and follow structured lesson plans, incorporating swimming drills and verbal cues, will be crucial in preventing boredom and enhancing the learning experience. Effective communication is essential in this position. You will be expected to build rapport with your students and their guardians, ensuring that each student feels valued and recognized by name.
