About the position
The Swimming Pool Technician role involves maintaining and servicing swimming pools, ensuring they are clean, safe, and chemically balanced. The technician will work outdoors in varying weather conditions and will be responsible for performing minor repairs and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Clean swimming pools by skimming, vacuuming, and brushing.
- Sanitize water and balance swimming pool water chemistry.
- Lift up to 100lbs buckets into the truck once a week.
- Perform minor repairs to pool cleaners.
- Program swimming pool controllers.
- Provide great customer service.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Experience in pool maintenance is preferred but not necessary.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 100lbs).
- Detail-oriented with good computer skills.
Nice-to-haves
- 1-2 years of experience in pool maintenance is preferred.
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification is ideal.
- Handyman skills.
