About the position
The Swing Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting inbound loads of materials to ensure quality standards are met. This role involves documenting and reporting inspection results, maintaining safety compliance, and coordinating communication between departments regarding the inspection process.
Responsibilities
- Inspect inbound loads of materials for quality assurance.
- Document, report, and communicate inspection results.
- Prepare, photograph, and document quality inspection findings.
- Complete inspection audit processes using various communication mediums such as SharePoint, emails, and voicemails.
- Maintain a safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards.
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures, including Hazardous Energy Control Procedures, Lock Out/Tag Out, and Confined Space protocol.
- Understand specifications and obligations outlined in customer contracts to ensure adherence.
- Coordinate communication between inter-departments regarding the inspection process.
