About the position

The Sworn Police Officer position at Allied Universal involves providing police services and ensuring safety for various clients in North Carolina. Responsibilities

  • Provide police services to clients by executing safety and police procedures, including emergency response activities when necessary.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols in and around schools and their perimeters.
  • Perform all state and local general law enforcement duties, including patrolling contracted properties, conducting building searches, issuing citations, and making arrests.
  • Attend required periodic training sessions and maintain proficiency in the use of firearms.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess or be able to obtain a state driver's license and be a US citizen.
  • Must be certified (sworn) as a police officer, have a BLET Certificate, or a state Law Enforcement Certification.
  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
  • Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.

  • Honorable discharge from the military (if applicable).
  • Ability to handle crisis situations using state-authorized de-escalation tactics.
