About the position

The Syndicated Loan Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the FNB Agent and investor portfolio by processing daily loan transactions, including loan closing activities, advances, payments, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners to facilitate syndicated transactions while managing financial and reputational risk.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the end-to-end syndicated loan process including deal review and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal partners, customers, investors, and outside counsel to streamline loan closing and oversee initial funding.
• Ensure accurate reflection of pro-rata shares in communications with investor banks.
• Maintain and reconcile electronic information for FNB agented accounts.
• Support daily syndication loan transactions including advances, payments, and rate resets.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external customer satisfaction and timely financial entries.
• Act on required information from agent banks for complex investor transactions promptly and accurately.
• Foster relationships with syndicate members and agent banks to ensure effective communication.
• Support and train junior team members to contribute to their professional development.
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of job-related experience required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using general office equipment and personal computers.
• Intermediate level proficiency in MS Excel.
