About the position

The Senior Data Product Manager will be a key resource at Synergie, playing a technical role that supports the business needs for IT infrastructure, information transmission, reporting, and analytics. This position is crucial for developing creative and innovative solutions to facilitate complex and large-scale information exchanges, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders. The role involves managing data infrastructure and transmissions, ensuring data availability, and enhancing capabilities by understanding the architecture. The Senior Data Product Manager will solicit new business requirements and build new processes or architecture to meet business objectives. This exciting role is part of a small team, allowing for a significant impact by collaborating with IT and business units to create data models and processes that align with Synergie's commitment to lowering medication costs and improving access to care for millions. Key responsibilities include ownership of the technical management and information exchanges for business operations related to contract information, drug coding lists, and client decision documentation. The Senior Data Product Manager will solicit business requirements, manage a pipeline of business needs and enhancements, and build and implement solutions. This includes designing and implementing complex data models to support internal systems, reporting, and business objectives. The role requires leveraging various coding languages such as Alteryx, VBA, SQL, and Python to develop code, procedures, and data pipelines that systematically process, organize, and manage data and resources. Additionally, the position involves developing and managing ongoing updates to detailed technical documentation of production data sets and other IT resources, supporting the organization of internal data processes, and providing technical support to internal and external resources for various components of Synergie's IT infrastructure. The Senior Data Product Manager will also support ad hoc and production reporting aligned with the company's goals and objectives, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize data transfer processes and architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership for the technical management and information exchanges for business operations related to contract information, drug coding lists, and client decision documentation.
  • Solicit business requirements, manage pipeline of business needs/enhancements, build and implement solutions.
  • Design and implement complex data models to support internal systems, reporting, and business objectives.
  • Leverage various coding languages (e.g., Alteryx, VBA, SQL, Python) to develop code, procedures, and data pipelines that systematically process, organize, and manage data and resources.
  • Develop and manage ongoing updates to detailed technical documentation of Production Data sets and other IT resources.
  • Support the organization of internal data processes, technical management of information and data artifacts.
  • Facilitate detailed technical discussions to establish new and enhanced data feeds and transfer methods.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external resources for various components of Synergie's IT Infrastructure.
  • Support ad hoc and production reporting aligned with the company goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (clients) to optimize data transfer processes and architecture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience.
  • 7+ years of related work experience in analytics, system design and development, technical architecture.
  • Ability to communicate technical and business information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with healthcare data, claims data, and PBM.
  • Solution-oriented with creative thinking skills.
  • Self-learner with the ability to work independently and lead the learning and work of others.
  • Systematic thinker with strong technical aptitude and attention to detail.
