About The Position
This individual serves as the primary representative and advocate for Premier Health at the state and federal levels. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies to advance the health system's policy priorities, influence legislation, and foster strong relationships with government officials, regulatory agencies, and key stakeholders to build trust and support, to represent Premier Health's interests and advocate for policies that align with its mission and objectives. This individual will ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks and proactively engage in advocacy efforts to protect and promote its interests. The position will be remote with much work occurring in Columbus, Ohio, to ensure close proximity to state officials, government agencies, and lobbying organizations, with periodic travel to Dayton for meetings, Leader Development Institute sessions, local events, staff meetings, and other organizational engagements as required. Will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring travel to attend legislative sessions, industry conferences, and meetings with public officials. The position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
