About the position

Lockheed Martin Space in Huntsville, AL is seeking an experienced full-time Systems Integration & Test Engineer to join the ATLO (Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations) organization. This role involves working on the system integration team for the SEIT within the LRHW program, focusing on creating and maintaining test plans, procedures, and automatic test scripts. The ideal candidate will collaborate across multiple disciplines and serve as a Certified Test Conductor, ensuring the safe execution of test procedures during ground, integration, and flight test events.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Test Plans and Test Procedures.
• Conduct site surveys for testing purposes.
• Develop and execute Automatic Test Scripts (ATS).
• Collaborate with multiple disciplines to achieve common objectives.
• Represent ATLO in working group discussions and interface with different program groups.
• Perform as a Certified Test Conductor during test events.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment with engineers and technicians.
• Experience with system test requirements and developing test plans and procedures.
• Background in test engineering, problem analysis, and resolution.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and EGSE.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Python and Linux OS.
• Familiarity with Automation Framework (AF) and analytical software like MATLAB.
• Experience in test and requirements verification processes.
• Functional test experience including script creation and execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and teamwork in internal customer interactions.
• Interest or experience in aerospace or defense systems assembly, integration, and test.
