About the position

The selected candidate will engage in RF design, development, and testing within the Labs and Technical Services Electromagnetics Department, focusing on Radar Cross Section (RCS) antenna testing. This role requires hands-on experience in RF and microwave measurement techniques, data acquisition systems, and the ability to provide technical expertise in RF/microwave hardware design and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform RF design, development, and testing for Radar Cross Section antenna testing.
• Coordinate and execute tasks related to the manufacturing, testing, and analysis of RF hardware and systems.
• Provide technical expertise in the design, implementation, troubleshooting, and repair of RF/microwave hardware.
• Prepare and deliver weekly status reports and presentations to management.

Requirements

• BS in a related engineering field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a hands-on electronic lab and/or manufacturing environment.
• Experience in repairing, troubleshooting, and testing Radio Frequency, radar, communication, navigation, and countermeasure systems.
• Proficiency in RF/Microwave data acquisition techniques.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Military Avionics Systems.
• Blueprint reading skills.
• Soldering RF connectors.
• Experience in Antenna Radiation testing.
• Experience in Radar Cross Section testing.
• Experience in Near and Far-Field RF measurements.
• Familiarity with Vector Network Analyzers.
