About the position

The System Administrator for Endpoint Security at Snapidea Systems Pvt Ltd is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing robust security measures to protect client systems and data. This role involves conducting vulnerability assessments, managing various operating systems, and ensuring the security of digital certificates through Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS). The position requires collaboration with the IT team to resolve technical challenges and improve system security continuously.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and oversee robust endpoint security measures to protect client systems and data.
  • Conduct routine vulnerability assessments, threat monitoring, and incident response to address potential risks.
  • Administer and support Windows, macOS, and Linux systems, ensuring they run efficiently and securely.
  • Manage OS updates, patches, and configurations as needed.
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS) to secure digital certificates.
  • Oversee certificate issuance, renewal, and revocation.
  • Integrate various systems and tools to build a unified and streamlined IT environment.
  • Create automation scripts and workflows to enhance system efficiency and reduce repetitive tasks.
  • Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging threats to continuously improve client system security.
  • Conduct security audits, evaluate vulnerabilities, and implement necessary remediations.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system settings, policies, and procedures.
  • Produce reports on system performance, security status, and incidents for management and clients.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to resolve complex technical challenges and provide support where needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Over 10 years of system administration experience, with expertise in Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Strong understanding of endpoint security tools, including antivirus, anti-malware, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Proficiency with PKI and Microsoft ADCS.
  • Experience in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP) are a plus.
