As a member of a fast-paced team of system administrators, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems that are critical to enterprise applications. This role involves managing IT system infrastructure and overseeing all processes related to these systems. You will provide essential support to IT systems, which includes handling day-to-day operations, monitoring system performance, and resolving problems across various client, server, storage, and network devices. Your responsibilities will encompass both Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support, where you will identify, diagnose, and resolve a wide range of technical issues. You will be tasked with configuring and managing UNIX and Windows operating systems, installing and loading operating system software, and troubleshooting to maintain system integrity. Additionally, you will configure network components and implement operating system enhancements aimed at improving reliability and performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and be familiar with tools such as Big Fix and Ansible. You will also need to have an active TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph, as well as a bachelor's degree and ten years of experience as a system administrator on programs of similar scope and complexity. If you do not have a bachelor's degree, you must have fifteen years of relevant experience. Familiarity with PowerShell and Bash scripting languages, experience with system hardening, and working knowledge of Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) for system compliance are also essential. Compliance with DoD 8570 standards, specifically achieving Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I, is required for this position.
