About the position

The System Administrator (Apache Tomcat) position at the DOJ NSD is a full-time role focused on providing sustainment support for web applications. The role requires expertise in managing mid-tier tools and supporting development teams in configuring environments. The position is critical to ensuring the operational efficiency of the National Security Division's IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide sustainment support at the web application tier.
• Proficiency in installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and hardening of mid-tier tools such as Apache TomCat, JBOSS, Oracle, and administration of on-premise SharePoint Server.
• Support development teams to configure development environments and tune web application stacks.
• Develop, maintain, improve, and automate processes for operations and deployments.

Requirements

• 10+ years of IT experience with proven System Administration experience.
• Apache Tomcat administration experience.
• Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Active Top Secret clearance required.
