About the position

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to oversee and enhance our diverse infrastructure across various platforms. The role involves maintaining system integrity, ensuring security compliance, and implementing upgrades and migrations. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in system administration, particularly with Windows, cloud computing, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all systems are up to date and in compliance with security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application technical issues related to the infrastructure.
• Plan and execute upgrades, updates, and migrations.
• Ensure smooth deployment of new applications and services.
• Manage and maintain small-scale Kubernetes clusters.
• Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Automate testing, building, and deployment processes.
• Work with DBA teams to maintain Oracle DB and PostgreSQL databases.
• Work closely with development teams.
• Provide technical guidance and support.
• Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in system administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Unix, and Linux.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, AWS).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Experience with database administration (Oracle DB, PostgreSQL).
• Strong understanding of security principles and ACL management.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Kubernetes and containerization.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience with Java and its ecosystem.
