About the position

The System Administrator (Multi-Cloud, Multi-Platform) role is focused on maintaining, improving, and upgrading a diverse infrastructure across multiple platforms. The position requires a strong background in system administration, cloud computing, security, and DevOps practices, particularly for candidates with experience from Apple.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all systems are up to date and in compliance with security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application technical issues related to the infrastructure.
• Plan and execute upgrades, updates, and migrations.
• Ensure smooth deployment of new applications and services.
• Manage and maintain small-scale Kubernetes clusters.
• Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Automate testing, building, and deployment processes.
• Work with DBA teams to maintain Oracle DB and PostgreSQL databases.
• Work closely with development teams.
• Provide technical guidance and support.
• Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in system administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Unix, and Linux.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, AWS).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Experience with database administration (Oracle DB, PostgreSQL).
• Strong understanding of security principles and ACL management.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Kubernetes and containerization.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience with Java and its ecosystem.
