About the position

The System Administrator I position at Cadence Bank involves supporting and maintaining servers, PCs, and software applications. The role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and requires collaboration with various departments to meet IT requirements for new branches.

Responsibilities

• Installs, configures and supports all departmental servers, PCs, peripherals and software applications.
• Troubleshoots application, server and PC performance issues.
• Recommends upgrades, patches for applications and equipment and new software applications.
• Provides technical support and guidance to users.
• Works with the Facilities Department for the IT requirements for new branches, decommissions and relocations, including budgeting, designing, scheduling and installation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related area of study preferred.
• 2 or more years of experience in the field.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within an Information Technology related field.
• Ability to travel between multiple locations.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Must be available to serve as needed on an afterhours on-call support rotation.
• Must be available 24x7 for technical support as required.
