About the position

The Anduril AIS System Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the information systems that are vital to the company's mission. This position is responsible for providing direct onsite customer support, which includes a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining and enhancing the performance of network, computer, and software systems. The System Administrator will be involved in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of these systems, ensuring that they operate efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of the organization and its clients. In addition to the technical aspects of the role, the System Administrator will manage user accounts, system permissions, and policies to ensure compliance with customer requirements. This includes supporting the selection, acquisition, installation, and configuration of new hardware, as well as performing regular backup operations and executing disaster recovery procedures. The role also requires maintaining comprehensive technical documentation of system configurations, changes, and procedures, which is essential for ongoing system management and troubleshooting. Moreover, the System Administrator will contribute to the development and deployment of system scripts and tools aimed at automating routine tasks, thereby enhancing overall system efficiency. This position is integral to the success of Anduril's Intelligence Systems, as it directly supports the company's commitment to delivering advanced technology solutions to its clients in the Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain network, computer, and software systems.
  • Manage user accounts, system permissions, and policies to ensure compliance with customer policies.
  • Support new hardware selection, acquisition, installation, and configuration.
  • Perform regular backup operations and exercise disaster recovery procedures.
  • Maintain technical documentation of system configurations, changes, and procedures.
  • Contribute to development and deployment of system scripts and tools to automate routine tasks to enhance system efficiency.

Requirements

  • Experience with physical hardware (e.g. workstations, servers, laptops, network switches).
  • Prior installation and administration of Linux (e.g. RedHat, CentOS, Debian, etc.).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Administration of Windows servers and workstations, including Active Directory and Group Policy management.
  • Knowledge and experience of scripting languages (e.g. Powershell and Bash).
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms: VMWare, KVM, Hyper-V.
  • Understanding of system updating for both Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Must be a U.S. Person because of required access to U.S. export controlled information.
  • Must have an active United States Top Secret security clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
