About the position

The System Administrator position is a long-term contract role within the DIT Enterprise Endpoint Management Operations team, focusing on providing security application and software support for endpoint and server operating systems. The role involves supporting managed and non-managed devices, ensuring effective endpoint security, and managing infrastructure configurations. The position is classified as Tier 3 System Administrator II, requiring expertise in various enterprise security tools and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary support for Enterprise Endpoint Security tools including SCCM/MECM, Intune, Antivirus, Tanium, and AGPM.
  • Manage Infrastructure Configuration and Remote Endpoint Management Support.
  • Document processes and procedures related to endpoint management.
  • Support managed and non-managed desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot LAN/WAN issues as they arise.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge and skills with Intel/AMD-based computing equipment (Servers, Desktops).
  • Demonstrable skills with MECM (inventory, software distribution, patch management, and PowerShell scripting on an Enterprise level).
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows OS 10, 11, Windows Server 2016, and Active Directory.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, M365, Office 2016, Visio, Project, and SharePoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Azure and Intune (MDM, MAM, Apple and WIN10 devices).
  • Experience with Crowdstrike (Antivirus & Firewall on an Enterprise level).
  • Familiarity with Bitlocker & Defender (Anti-malware and encryption on Enterprise level).
  • Some knowledge of Ivanti Admin patch management for non-Microsoft applications.
