About the position

The System Administrator at Re:Cycle Reverse Logistics is responsible for maintaining the warehouse management system that supports global operations. This role involves managing user accounts, system configurations, and ensuring data accuracy while driving continuous improvements in system efficiency. The position requires a detail-oriented and analytical individual who can proactively identify risks and enhance user performance for over 800 global users.

Responsibilities

  • Managing user accounts and system configurations to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Acting as operations point of contact to document, triage, root cause, and resolve system and cross-service integration incidents.
  • Correcting materials following unfavorable or at-risk material flow using access-restricted tools.
  • Capturing and monitoring system KPIs, integration audit logs, and team metrics to identify and resolve security and operational risks.
  • Collaborating with operation leaders, peers, and providers to drive continuous improvements and system efficiency for users.
  • Auditing system data, maintaining data hygiene and related reporting to achieve zero data defects.
  • Maintaining system ticket queue and providing regular status updates to users and leaders tracking system incidents.
  • Documenting problem statements, solutions, and impacts for design reviews and planning cycles.
  • Executing user acceptance test cycles for upcoming solutions and enhancements, documenting findings and ensuring high delivery standards.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience supporting software configuration/administration, software development/implementation, or continuous operational improvement for a warehousing, manufacturing, data center, or reverse logistics environment.
  • 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • 1+ years of experience using warehouse management and/or inventory control systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proven track record for improving metrics and performance to SLA.
  • Experience in AWS platforms (S3, RedShift, etc.).
  • Familiarity with data mining and visualization tools (SQL, Tableau, etc.).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience managing a 3rd party vendor.
  • Experience using programming languages (Java, HTML, etc.).
