About the position

As a System Administrator-Revenue Cycle at Gentiva, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and managing access to all web applications utilized by the Revenue Department. This position requires you to act as the primary administrator for these applications and portals, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally and that users have the necessary access to perform their duties effectively. You will be the point of contact for support tickets, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring timely resolutions. In addition to managing support tickets, you will attend weekly meetings with vendors to discuss the status of ongoing tickets, projects, and updates. This collaborative approach will help you stay informed about the latest developments and ensure that any issues are addressed promptly. You will also assist in developing training documentation and programs, which will be essential for onboarding new users and ensuring that all team members are well-versed in the systems they will be using. Working closely with leadership, you will evaluate current processes and suggest improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Revenue Cycle operations. Your insights and recommendations will be valuable in driving positive changes within the department, ultimately contributing to better patient care and operational success.

Responsibilities

  • Act as administrator for web applications and portals
  • Be point of contact for support tickets
  • Attend weekly meetings with vendors for status of tickets, projects, updates, etc.
  • Assist with developing training documentation and programs
  • Work with leadership to understand, evaluate and suggest improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field, or additional equivalent experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage IT projects and deliver on commitments
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize with great attention to detail, uncompromised quality, and a sense of urgency
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in the English language
  • Experience with MS SQL and ability to conduct and direct research into SQL data issues a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and macros a plus
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience with Homecare-Homebase preferred
