About the position

The Senior System Administrator position is focused on providing excellent desktop support and system administration for clients. This role involves troubleshooting, software installations, PC replacements, and maintaining equipment, ensuring that customer needs are met efficiently and effectively. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical customers.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot customer issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Install software following security and internal processes.
  • Image or provision new equipment hardware and provide it to customers.
  • Document work activities in ServiceNow.
  • Support customers using good customer service skills.
  • Test Intune processes for the Tier 3 team and provide feedback.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on technical issues.
  • Assist with developing team processes and a knowledge base.
  • Work with vendors on warranty cases.
  • Track onboarding and shipping activities based on customer requests.
  • Follow asset management processes to ensure proper customer billing.
  • Work on special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Moderate knowledge and demonstrable skills of Windows OS & M365.
  • Basic understanding of MECM, Active Directory, Tanium, Intune, & Beyond Trust.
  • Basic knowledge of Macintosh Apple devices with a willingness to learn.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with imaging and equipment inventories.
  • Familiarity with customer onboarding and off-boarding processes.
