About the position

The System Administrator position at SAIC involves supporting the INSCOM Military Intelligence Brigade in Fort Eisenhower, GA. The role requires providing system administration for various operating systems, managing virtual environments, and ensuring the functionality of operational workstations. The position supports a 24/7 service environment and requires a rotating-shift work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Respond to issues defined by INSCOM G7 FM and the 116th MI BDE.
• Provide support for SAN integration, configuration, and Level I/II sustainment of INSCOM CI.
• Administer Windows, Linux, and Solaris systems and provide application expertise on emerging systems.
• Support underlying system architecture management applications like VMWare Virtual Center and IBM Director.
• Assist in the installation and maintenance of the Virtual Environment VM 6.7 for four networks.
• Maintain VDI functionality and assist in TTC and TGS integration for Operational Ground Station workstations.
• Maintain Active Directory for SIPR/JWICS/CXI and NSA provided services/maintenance for user accounts.
• Assist with host malfunctions on applications running in the stack as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and two years of experience, or four years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Active TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certified Security+ certification.
• Any Computing Environment Certification (e.g., Linux+, Server+, Red Hat, Microsoft Windows Server).
• Understanding of Virtual Environment VM 6.7 and its functionality.
• Experience with TTC and TGS integration and maintenance for OGS workstations.
