About the position

The Area Access Management System Administrator at Pinkerton is responsible for ensuring that only authorized individuals can access designated spaces, applying the principles of the Zero-Trust model within the corporate security program. This role involves auditing access levels, managing permissions, and driving necessary changes to maintain security integrity. The Administrator will work closely with the Regional Program Security Manager and engage in various security workflows to support operational success.

Responsibilities

  • Support the client's Regional Program Security Manager in day-to-day approval of access requests across multiple sites.
  • Proactively audit system connections between devices and access permissions to identify potential misconfigurations.
  • Drive the execution of action items related to correcting misconfigurations or removing individual permissions to closure.
  • Cultivate an understanding of space functions, owners, and occupying organizations to apply the principle of least privilege (PoLP).
  • Manage multiple area access management security workflows crucial to operational success.
  • Analyze datasets and space layouts and leverage software systems to accomplish key tasks.
  • Assist with security design and implementation for facilities.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Degree preferred and three or more years within similar physical security roles including Lenel OnGuard experience.
  • Lenel access level design and management skills, preferred.
  • Data entry or coding skills, preferred.
  • Understanding of Python, SQL, and Splunk Search Processing language.
  • Able to effectively troubleshoot within ambiguous environments.
  • Root cause analysis skills.
  • Able to communicate complex issues effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Results-oriented with a strong delivery focus.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with global and remote teams across all levels within the organization.
  • Attentive to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads.
  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office.
