About the position

The Mid PKI Systems Administrator will support a federal customer in Washington DC, focusing on the operation and maintenance of the customer's Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). This role requires an active Top-Secret Clearance and involves providing Tier 3 services, technical support, and guidance on PKI policies and processes, while working with Microsoft Certificate Services and Entrust Identity Guard credential management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with project team and end users to identify PKI requirements and develop documentation.
  • Contribute to the technical direction on PKI architecture, including policies, standards, and governance.
  • Participate in special projects and team activities based on mission critical needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance.
  • Mid Administrative level experience in VPN, PKI, and Encryption.
  • Experience with Firewalls and Networking Infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of Managed Security Services SOC Functions.
  • Familiarity with Identity & Access Management authentication tools.
  • Experience with Malware and Endpoint Detection & Response.
  • Understanding of Cloud Security and Security Orchestration and Automation.
  • Experience with Visualization & Containers.
  • Knowledge of Governance, Risk, & Compliance.
  • Demonstrated success in project management and driving complex projects to completion.
  • PKI administrative experience in Windows/LINUX OS environment.
  • Experience with enterprise scale Identity and Access Management solutions.
  • Ability to install and configure server hardware and applications.
  • Ability to facilitate customer service activities and address trouble tickets in a timely manner.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3 years of experience with enterprise class security technologies.
  • 2 years of experience in services consulting delivering security projects.
  • 2+ years of experience in Public Key Infrastructure or related fields.
  • Familiarity with SAFe Agile framework.
  • Experience with Service Manager or other Help Desk ticketing systems.
