About the position

The System Administrator position at CDO Technologies involves supporting Air National Guard Operations by managing and maintaining systems, servers, workstations, and related IT infrastructure. The role requires a strong understanding of operating systems, virtualization platforms, and hardware architectures, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve ITIL incidents. The administrator will ensure that all systems are properly configured, maintained, and compliant with security standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems administration for servers, workstations, peripherals, communications devices, and software to ensure they are online and supported.
• Understand customer mission needs and be knowledgeable of hardware and software capabilities and limitations.
• Ensure proper configuration of servers, workstations, peripherals, and software for network operation.
• Perform routine system maintenance and implement software patches and security fixes as required.
• Test and validate the operation and configuration of devices prior to restoring them to the network.
• Provide server farm and help desk support, including DHCP, Office software, printing, and basic virtual environment management.
• Support Data Wall operations by building user accounts and setting up displays.
• Verify compliance with DISA STIGs and make necessary changes.
• Ensure physical security of DoD Information Network components.
• Monitor system reports and advisory notices.

Requirements

• 3 years relevant systems administration experience
• Minimum 8570 IAT II Security+ CE certification
• Secret Clearance (FINAL)
• Microsoft 365 Certified Modern Desktop Administrator Associate Certification or higher
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting
