The System Administrator will be responsible for deploying workstations, servers, printers, scanners, firewalls, encryption systems, and all host security systems, ensuring that all operating systems and end-user software are managed effectively. Additionally, the System Administrator will manage communications and connection solutions, including workstation connectivity, local area networks, and internet applications. Ensuring the integrity and security of enterprise data is paramount, and the System Administrator will conduct network and security audits, perform routine system backups and restores, and troubleshoot hardware and software problems. The role also includes managing end-user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations, all while adhering to best practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
