About the position

As a System Administrator at CACI, you will be responsible for resolving IT hardware and software infrastructure issues, including servers, network, and security components. Your role will involve using systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensure the appropriate functioning of hardware, software, and system specifications. You will analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with IT infrastructure, which includes user systems, servers, storage, and network connectivity. Additionally, you will provide system administration for assigned infrastructure and establish and maintain security protocols related to users. This includes applying security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment. You will also support new infrastructure projects and maintain all configuration documentation for the assigned infrastructure. In this role, you will provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems. You should possess networking and switch configuration skills and have experience in compliance requirements for servers and network devices. Your responsibilities will include providing Tier 1 (Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems, as well as managing the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems. You will assist users in accessing and using IT systems and provide support for escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Your role will also involve optimizing system operations and resource utilization, performing system capacity analysis and planning, and providing in-depth experience in troubleshooting IT systems. You will be expected to provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets, support the dispatch system, and remain involved in the resolution process. Furthermore, you will configure and manage Windows (or other applicable) operating systems, install and load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components, along with implementing operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Ten (10) years of System Administrator experience in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
