Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented System Administrator to join our team in the DMV area. We have opportunities in the Washington, DC area as well as Northern Virginia and Maryland. If you are looking for an opportunity in any of those locations, we encourage you to apply. The System Administrator installs, configures, manages, troubleshoots, and secures Desktop IT systems, servers, printers, storage devices, and peripherals. They perform backup and recovery functions. They maintain GAL, AD, DNS, and other network services. The System Administrator documents and reports incidents. They share work and actively engage with other System Administrators.

Requirements

• High School diploma and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree.
• DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II Certification within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order.
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline.

Nice-to-haves

• Relevant industry standard certifications such as Microsoft, Red Hat Linux, AWS, or VMWare.
• Experience with scripting languages and automation tools such as Ansible, Salt or Puppet.
