About the position

The System Administrator at Tailored Access, LLC is responsible for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems. This role involves managing IT system infrastructure, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly, and providing support for various client/server/storage/network devices. The position requires both Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, focusing on problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution, while also communicating status updates to management and internal customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manage IT system infrastructure and related processes.
• Support day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support for problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
• Communicate status updates to agency management and internal customers.
• Support the dispatch system and hardware problem resolution.
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems.
• Install/load operating system software and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain integrity and configure network components.
• Implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

Requirements

• Experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university (additional SA experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree).
