About the position

The Systems Administrator is responsible for managing and supporting the company's IT infrastructure, which includes applications, servers, and networks. This role involves analysis, installation, testing, maintenance, and operational oversight to ensure effective IT functionality for end users. The position requires independent judgment in decision-making and adherence to established guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced support for IT systems, applications, and servers, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
• Monitor and maintain software, servers, and licensing compliance, ensuring systems remain up-to-date.
• Configure and oversee security access control systems.
• Support disaster recovery planning and business continuity efforts, including data backup and restoration.
• Utilize tools such as SolarWinds, VPN, Cisco ASA Firewalls, and PowerShell to manage IT infrastructure effectively.
• Make independent decisions regarding work methods in alignment with organizational strategy.
• Adhere to established procedures while providing proactive support in ambiguous situations as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in corporate IT with a focus on networking and server management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access).
• Hands-on experience with SolarWinds, VPN, Cisco ASA Firewalls, and PowerShell.
