About the position

The Vulnerability Management Administrator role at Insight Global involves identifying, assessing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities in server environments. The position requires a skilled individual with experience in vulnerability assessment, server OS patch management, and remediation of End of Life/End of Service (EOL/EOS) software. The candidate will manage and apply server OS patches across various environments, contributing to the overall security posture of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess security vulnerabilities in server environments.
• Mitigate vulnerabilities through effective remediation strategies.
• Manage and apply server OS patches across various environments.
• Utilize vulnerability management tools such as Nessus, Qualys, and Rapid7.
• Automate processes to push changes to multiple servers using scripting languages.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with ITIL processes and change management.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a systems administrator.
• Experience with OS administration on Windows or Linux.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting, patching, and remediating vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7).
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and change management.
• Scripting knowledge in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Ansible for automation.
• Experience working in a cloud environment, preferably AWS.
