About the position

Our client, a premier company at the forefront of science and technology within healthcare, life science, and performance materials, is seeking a highly skilled System Analysis & Consulting Expert. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive experience in automation engineering, particularly within the Biopharmaceutical sector, to enhance the Development team. This role entails the design, development, deployment, and validation of industrial software and automation systems in a multi-product environment. In this position, you will collaborate with an international and multicultural team to design, develop, deploy, and validate industrial software solutions. You will be responsible for implementing automation processes in a multi-product environment, ensuring that all systems meet the necessary regulatory standards and operational requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Development team, contributing to the overall success of the organization. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience as an automation engineer, preferably in Biopharmaceuticals. Proven expertise in CODESYS programming and Wonderware/Aveva SCADA & PLC development is essential. In-depth knowledge and experience with communication protocols and data exchanges, particularly OPC UA, is also required. Familiarity with professional software development practices, including code standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, unit and functional testing, and operations, is necessary. Prior experience in the Life Sciences industry, with an understanding of regulations (e.g., 21CFR Part 11), development guidelines (e.g., GAMP5), and computer validation practices (e.g., CSV) is highly desirable. Experience working within an Agile methodology and collaborating directly with technical teams and suppliers will be beneficial.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in User Interface Design (OMI).
  • Experience with web APIs and HMI.
  • Knowledge of Wago automation systems.
