About the position

The System Analyst III - System Administration at ONEOK is responsible for complex systems management and configuration management of the IT infrastructure environment. This role involves mentoring less experienced staff and managing enterprise storage and virtualization environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain enterprise storage environment.
• Provision block and file storage across NetApp and Pure Storage Arrays.
• Manage SAN infrastructure, including adding and deleting zones.
• Provide reporting on storage consumption, growth rates, and trouble areas.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions.
• Perform storage duties during quarterly disaster recovery tests.
• Manage and maintain virtualization environment (VMware/Nutanix).
• Maintain server hardware (HPE/Cisco/Dell).
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to recommend strategies for core technologies.
• Coordinate personnel to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.
• Perform root cause analysis on resolved problems.
• Design and develop monitoring or proactive measures to prevent future occurrences.
• Create and review documentation related to infrastructure technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in IT architecture and systems management.
• Significant experience with data center technologies.
• Experience with infrastructure hardware configuration and IP networking.
• Proficiency in Windows Server and/or Unix operating systems.
• Knowledge of shared storage technologies and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with event monitoring, logging, and data collection techniques.
• Proven track record of mentoring and facilitating discussions across teams.
