About the position

The System Analyst 1, Revenue Cycle position at Javon Bea Hospital-Rockton is focused on supporting and maintaining software applications that impact the Revenue Cycle, Patient Access, Finance, and other business-related areas. The role involves providing analytical and application support in planning, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of business operations, ensuring effective use of software applications to improve workflows and production.

Responsibilities

• Performs application table maintenance as needed in support of requested changes.
• Updates and maintains required documentation and issues lists.
• Provides phone support and routine business unit visits to discuss pending issues.
• Understands computer system functionality, limitations, and architecture of supported applications.
• Participates in various operational meetings to analyze current procedures and workflows, identify problems, and make recommendations.
• Suggests software functions and workflows to implement for improved efficiency.
• Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to supported software applications.
• Assists in implementing upgrades, including testing of software applications.
• Collaborates with educators in the development and delivery of training and documentation for new software releases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, or other related field preferred.
• Epic Grand Central and/or Prelude certification or experience is required.
• Experience with Hospital Registration, Admission, Discharge, and/or Transfer workflows.
