About the position
The System Analyst (Ticketing System) role at Excelraise, LLC involves supporting the procurement, development, and implementation of a new electronic infectious disease surveillance system. This position is critical for modernizing disease reporting and management, ensuring compliance with national standards, and enhancing public health data capabilities. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, communication skills, and customer service to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders and support system users.
Responsibilities
- Support system activities in SCION (the current EDSS) and procurement/implementation of the new EDSS.
- Learn system capabilities to provide support, analysis, testing, problem resolution, reporting, and monitoring.
- Work in a team environment with IT staff, Project Management Office, and Program Area system owners to support the system and users.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- 6 years of experience in IT systems analysis and customer service.
- Knowledge of Information Technology field, best practices, organization, and operations.
- Ability to learn new systems and become an expert.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to provide system support.
- Proficiency in O365 products and applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
- Experience in system analysis, monitoring, and reporting on system performance and data quality.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Microsoft Visio.
- Experience with ticketing software.
- Ability to establish positive working relationships with technical staff and customers.
- Familiarity with industry standard information security practices.
