About the position

The System Analyst position at Sonus Software Solutions involves working closely with Erie County to enhance and consolidate public safety dispatch functionalities. The role requires site visits to gather data and develop a comprehensive plan for improving the current software applications used in police, fire, and EMS dispatch. The System Analyst will also be responsible for creating detailed Functional Requirements documents to guide the software development process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits to Erie County dispatch centers to gather data on dispatch and record management tasks.
• Work with Erie County to develop a plan for consolidating current functionalities.
• Define opportunities for functional consolidation among various Erie County 911 software applications.
• Create a Functional Requirements document detailing each proposed project for distribution to Project Managers and Software Engineers.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with public safety police, fire, and medical dispatch.
• Proven ability to gather and analyze data from dispatch centers.
• Strong documentation skills to create Functional Requirements documents.
