About the position

The System Analyst position at Froedtert South, Inc. involves performing system builds and integrated testing for hospital software, particularly Epic. The role requires collaboration with operational departments to design workflows, provide technical support, and serve as a subject matter expert for end users. The analyst will also be responsible for troubleshooting system issues and managing project tasks related to software enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Perform system build and integrated testing as appropriate.
• Collaborate with operational departments and end users to design appropriate workflows for system capabilities.
• Communicate and document all changes made to the software/system.
• Troubleshoot system problems for the end user.
• Function as subject matter expert for area of concentration in Epic or other hospital software.
• Provide system security and access as appropriate.
• Answer help desk calls and triage or resolve as appropriate.
• Manage projects for area of concentration in Epic or other hospital software.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Computer Science or two (2) years progressive work experience in the IT field or healthcare.
• 2 to 3 years of experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
• Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• At least one (1) year of work experience in a hospital department, preferably clinical.
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to organize, analyze, problem-solve, and educate.
• Ability to learn various software applications.
