About the position

The position involves managing system requirements and ensuring the delivery of production systems compatible with defined architectures. The role is critical in helping clients solve business challenges through innovative technology solutions and operational improvements. The candidate will contribute to systems engineering documentation, coordinate cross-discipline actions, and participate in integrated product teams to design new capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems compatible with defined system architectures.
• Contribute to the development of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans and Requirements specifications.
• Assist with the development of system and functional requirements, allocating them to hardware, software, and personnel components.
• Coordinate the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board meetings and design reviews.
• Participate in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities based on operational considerations.
• Allocate real-time process budgets and error budgets to systems and subsystems.
• Generate alternative system concepts and design solutions.
• Define methods and evaluation criteria for verifying systems against their requirements.
• Develop system design solutions that satisfy system requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required.
• 20+ years of experience as a System Engineer in similar projects.
• Experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
