About the position

The Level 6 System Engineer at RealmOne is responsible for providing intelligence, engineering, and mission management expertise to enhance the effectiveness of critical government missions. This role involves applying systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle, engaging with government stakeholders, and ensuring the technical integrity and quality of deliverables. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in systems engineering, particularly in rack elevation and cabling design, and will lead engineering activities while supervising other engineers and technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Perform systems engineering activities and assist in the preparation of work products in Technical Process Areas associated with ISO/IEC 15288.
  • Assist in performing systems engineering activities in the ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas.
  • Develop and deliver work products in any of the ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas.
  • Independently analyze and recommend alternatives for elements of project's technical design.
  • Supervise or coordinate the work of other contractor engineers or technicians on a project.
  • Brief stakeholders and present the status on all technical aspects of their project.
  • Independently resolve important engineering issues requiring the use of advanced technology.
  • Plan and develop engineering projects with unique or complex aspects that impact major capabilities of high priority to the enterprise.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience.
  • A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience.
  • A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus sixteen (16) years of systems engineering experience.
  • A High School Diploma or GED plus twenty-four (24) years of general systems engineering experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with KEYSCORE and LOPERS.
  • Dataflow experience.
