About the position

The System Engineer position at Recro Corporation involves providing senior-level systems engineering and technical support for the Zero Trust Implementation. The role requires collaboration with existing ICAM capability teams to define requirements, develop architecture, and create documentation while ensuring compliance with industry standards. The engineer will also manage configurations, assist with installation troubleshooting, and provide technical expertise in various technologies and frameworks related to cloud security and identity management.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior systems engineering and technical support for Zero Trust Implementation.
• Define requirements and develop architecture and design documentation.
• Perform technology assessments and support risk mitigation assessments.
• Manage configurations and assist with installation troubleshooting.
• Create and maintain ICAM Zero Trust documentation including release notes and user guides.
• Research and analyze cloud security environments.
• Assist with Risk Management Framework and DoD accreditation packages.
• Identify capability gaps and enhancements for current ICAM services.
• Define implementation processes and outline hardware/software considerations.
• Assist software developers with tracking and defining requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 10-15 years of experience in systems engineering.
• Experience with software development methodologies.
• Ability to solve complex system/integration problems.
• Experience briefing senior-level management.
• Demonstrated engineering experience on programs with requirements and functional analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with software development, test engineers, and system administration teams.
• Ability to facilitate meetings and explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience with Confluence and JIRA.
• Knowledge of EDH1/2, ISM, CAPCO, and CUI Standards.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Docker, and REST.
• Familiarity with Single Sign-On technologies like OAuth and SAML.
