About the position

The Windows Server Administrator will be responsible for managing and supporting high-priority applications that operate on Windows server-based systems within an Azure environment. This role requires a solid understanding of Windows server platforms and the ability to collaborate effectively with a server installation team. The administrator will also engage in troubleshooting and basic SQL query writing to ensure optimal performance of the applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support high-priority Windows server-based applications in an Azure environment.
• Collaborate with the server install team during the installation of Windows OS versions 16, 19, and 22.
• Troubleshoot issues related to IIS certificates and basic networking.
• Navigate and perform basic queries in SQL to assist with application support.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience as a Windows Server Administrator.
• Strong understanding of Windows server platforms in an Azure environment.
• Experience with IIS certificates and basic networking.
• Proficient in Active Directory management.
• Ability to navigate SQL and write basic queries.
