About the position

Auria is seeking a System Infrastructure Architect to support the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program in Colorado Springs, CO. This role involves developing and maintaining the technical baselines necessary for the Ballistic Missile Defense Systems (BMDS) and requires strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to work with both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Produce CAMEO and Visio diagrams and other engineering products to communicate designs to the engineering team and manage internal and customer reviews.
  • Design production environments and lab modifications to support operations, testing, and development needs across a geographically separated team.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to align solutions with various program aspects and champion design patterns and implementation.
  • Provide designs for assured and efficient BMDS communications, focusing on reconfigurability, network management, and information assurance.
  • Develop Bills of Material and perform Analysis of Alternatives for competing solutions to capability needs.
  • Investigate and adapt emerging technologies for program application.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 10 years, or a PhD with 7 years of experience.
  • Current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Top Secret security clearance and ability to obtain SCI clearance.
  • Expertise in network engineering, including logical link layering, Ethernet, WAN, switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Strong understanding of DMZ, OSPF, BGP, LDAP, Spine Leaf configurations, and related standards.
  • Experience with virtualization methodologies and management of local private cloud instances.
  • Knowledge of integrating COTS elements into large enterprises and cyber patching strategies.
  • Experience with network encryption devices and Cyber System Accreditation packages.
  • Familiarity with Cross Domain transfer solutions and multi-security level enterprise systems.
  • Understanding of DevSecOps development patterns.

Nice-to-haves

  • Current active in-scope TS/SCI clearance at the start is highly preferred.
  • Experience with national missile defense or early warning system capabilities, such as C2BMC.
  • Experience with command-and-control systems.
  • Knowledge of Space Domain Awareness mission areas.
