Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret engineering and scientific data, focusing on physical data for automotive testing and validation.
• Develop Python software solutions to support data analysis and preprocessing tasks.
• Utilize data visualization and descriptive statistics techniques to derive insights.
• Maintain and manage data pipelines, including Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes.
• Collaborate on cloud-based data solutions using AWS, with transferrable skills in Azure and Google Cloud.
• Communicate data through the CAN communication protocol and J1939 CAN standard for automotive testing.
• Use Git and GitHub for version control and code collaboration with engineering teams.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot and optimize data handling solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics.
• At least one year of experience in software development, data science, or data engineering, preferably in an engineering or scientific context.
• Core skills in college-level physics, Python development, data analysis, and automotive testing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), CAN communication protocol, and Git/GitHub.

Nice-to-haves

• Optional skills in ETL pipelines, SQL, relational database management, and telematics will be advantageous.
