About the position

The Senior Systems Integration Engineer will operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform a variety of engineering tasks. This role is responsible for the engineering and documentation of systems and component designs, starting from the initial layout through to the final drawings. The engineer will provide technical support to manufacturers, fabricators, and the installation/operations teams, ensuring that all designs meet the required specifications and standards. In this position, the engineer will generate and review engineering drawings, technical reports, systems specifications and requirements, electrical systems reports, systems architectures, and loads analysis documents. This will involve using both empirical methods and software simulations to validate designs. The engineer will also provide oversight and content to design and drafting operators, ensuring that all outputs are of high quality and meet project requirements. Additionally, the Senior Systems Integration Engineer will create conceptual CAD data that is adequate for preparing engineering drawings and models, bills of materials (BOMs), and engineering change orders (ECOs). A critical part of the role will involve inspecting completed installations and observing operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications, as well as compliance with operational and safety standards.
