About the position

The position involves reviewing and analyzing program-level objectives and system concepts, focusing on the integration and testing of complex subsystems. The role requires hands-on testing, development of test plans, and collaboration with various teams to ensure successful integration and testing activities.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and understand program level objectives and system concepts.
• Develop test requirements, methods, and solutions based on systems engineering team requirements.
• Perform hands-on integration and testing of complex subsystems across all interfaces.
• Develop and execute subsystem and/or system-level test plans and procedures.
• Conduct test readiness reviews and perform test data reduction and analysis.
• Analyze failure data for trends and systemic issues to reduce/eliminate test escapements.
• Support the development of acceptance test procedures and production test plans.
• Prepare and present technical reviews and program status updates.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers in integration and test activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of applicable systems engineering integration and test experience.
• Ability to consult and facilitate diverse stakeholders in defining and prioritizing integration and test methodologies.
• Strong drive and sense of ownership with the ability to develop creative solutions to technical challenges.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with customers, vendors, and leadership.

Nice-to-haves

• Aerospace / Defense industry experience is preferred.
• Department of Defense (DOD) security clearance is a plus.
• Prior integration and test experience on at least two programs, with one being large scale and complex (i.e., > 25 System Engineers and/or > $100M).
• Demonstrated proposal-writing capability.
